Rayner is a lost soul without his fruit machine partner (but apparently richer…)

It was agreed Steve had been abducted by aliens due to the mystery scar that appeared on his head.

Chrissy G didn’t go with a prozzie on holiday because he’s got big balls…

Cronin managed to put someone in a neck brace while go karting

Chris G demonstrated his camp linesman’s technique

1. Chairman (Rob)
Big Rob had enough of the chit chat, and at 8.10pm declared “Hello” and that he’d had a tough day at work and we should get on with it

2. Secretary (Steve)
Fine of £10 paid (had so many this year, haven’t a clue what it was for…)
Jon Hall not signed up yet as he came back from a holiday with an undisclosed infection. The smart money was on gonorrhea. Jon would neither confirm nor deny this.

3. Treasurer (Chris)
Cleared all Shrub End bills (Hooray!)
£300 in debt at this moment (x2 months pitch fees), and £4.97 in the bank…
Chris was then handed loads of cash and his face looked very relieved.
Subs to remain at current levels as we still need to pay debt and training
Cash books working well (gold star for Steve!)

4. First Team (Daz)
Start of season was OK. Played alright so far. Everyone doing as asked, but players are not confident in front of goal.

Liaison with T over selections has been going well, as has training; players seem to be listening too

5. Reserves (T)
Bit stop/start so far. League is better than had first thought – Toll D’Arcy and Airborne look stronger than previously thought. Been some sloppy goals conceded.

Res turn out in training is better than expected, but still need more to turn up. Attitude is very encouraging.

6. AOB (All)

• Still need a couple of new players
• Gareth did really well at centre back for Res
• Cronin didn’t
• Team night to be sorted out? Next meeting – Xmas Social to sort
• Steve to confirm with Shrub End we definitely want a half-pitch for training

8.40, short meeting, nowt interesting, all done and dusted and home in time for some Pro Evo before bed…
